Glomaris NAV Roadmap
Below is the Glomaris NAV product roadmap - an overall picture of the plans for Glomaris NAV, and the security of further future development of the product.
As the roadmap shows, we are currently planning and working on four waves towards 2013. Each of these will contain different elements, including improvements and fixes in the existing functionalities, technical NAV upgrades and completely new functionalities. But as can been seen on the illustration each wave has it’s own focus area.
Below is the high level product plan for Glomaris NAV and what we are working on, on a continuously basis. Changes to the roadmap will naturally occur, this can either be based on the Glomaris product board decisions, or on input from Customers and the marked in general, or due to product changes in Dynamics NAV, etc. Changes to the roadmap will be announced in due time.

Accounting & Finance
Glomaris shipping software is integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 ERP accounting system and is paramount for the ability to control your businesses and to generate real time statistics for your decision making. The system also offers a comprehensive reporting structure compatible with Microsoft Excel.

Client Register
The Client Register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains full style addresses, communications and banking details. Avanced client details and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) intelligence can also be stored and advanced. Full integration with import and export facilities via Microsoft Excel.

Commodities
The Commodities module is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains specifications about commodities (dry, tank, project orientated). New commodities are conveniently entered into the shipping software.
For dry cargo you can insert stowage factor. For tank commodities you can insert specific gravity, API and whether heating required.

COA's
The Contract register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and Bookings and Contracts can be entered to comprise full and automatic updates of lifted shipments via the Voyage Estimator. The Contract terms can be entered to avoid future rekeying of information in the shipping software.

Calculations
The Voyage Estimator is paramount to any dry or tanker software. The Voyage Estimator integrates with Glomaris shipping solution and performs voyage charter, time charter, cargo relets and broker fixtures and features the entire view on a single screen. We have listed examples of items and features included in the shipping system;
A fully integrated/expansive distance table is available / An unlimited number of cargoes and ports my be computed / Easy to transfer vessel information to the estimator / DWCC calculations for cubic intake and draft restrictions are accessible / Speed comparison is available for multiple speeds / Bookings and contracts liftings may easily be retrieved into the estimator / A range of sensitivity analyses is available / Bunker consumption throughout the system operates basis FIFO principle / Full schedule of vessel's intended trade and routing point(s) are shown / Historic port costs are visible / Feature for comparison of multiple estimates.

Headfixtures
The Headfixture Register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains enhanced details about cost, position and availability. Vessel details are generated from the Vessels Register in the ships itinerary software.
Furthermore, all vessels are entered in the register holding information about;
Period and period options / Ownership / Delivery port-day-notices / Redelivery port-range-notices / Multiple hire charges / Off-hire log / Commission structure / Hire statements-recaps / Master-crew bonuses log.

Fixtures
The Fixtures register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains details of fixtures, e.g. rates, commissions, itinerary and cargo. The module enable the ship operators to proceed with the itinerary for each fixture to completion of the actual voyage. This is also the direct access to the Voyage Operation Statements (VOS) for the transparent view of profit / loss.

Ports/Distances
The Ports/Distances module is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and provides an independant Port / Distances Register containing more than 2,500 distances and ports. Furthermore, the system allows for importation of down loaded distances from third party sources.

Pool Accounting
The Pool Accounting Register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains the ability to manage shipping pools. Vessels are indexed in accordance with previous performances and DWT. to share Profit / Loss within the individual pools. The module conveniently integrates with the shipping accounting software.

Laytime
The Laytime Calculator is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and computes demurrage and despatch respectively. Method of computing comprises Non-reversible, Reversible, Average and Multiple ports. Furthermore, there are a large number of shinc/shex codes and it is easy to insert interruptions.
Figures may be transferred to the fixture and included in the freight statement and integrates with the shipping accounting software.

Futures
The Futures Register is integrated into Glomaris shipping solution and contains the ability to list FFA portfolios´ in and out. It also features Profit/Loss for each paper in the portfolio and conveniently integrates with the shipping accounting software.
