OCR for Navision

OCR for Navision is a technical add-on granule (no. 6.031.700) for Navision Financials 2.60 or later, incl. Attain. It is used to develop scanning and OCR functionality within a Navision Financials or Attain solution.

With OCR for Navision the scanning and OCR functionality can easily be added to a business solution or a client solution. OCR for Navision can also be used as a scanning module without the OCR functions.

All OCR functionality are handled by functions stored in a single codeunit.

OCR for Navision contains the following functions:

• Scanner handling
• Bitmap handling
• OCR functionality
• Extraction of data from text
• Language
